This is the second cross stitch project I ever made in my whole lifetime. The first one was when I was still in my teens and the second one is this cross stitch Rose design. It is also my last...I had a hard time with this because the weave is so fine I think my vision got more blurry because of this project...well...I am not so young anymore, I must say. Seeing so many wonderful projects in other people's blog, continues to inspire me...I wish I had more time to do the things I like most. I am still employed in the government service and when I do retire, I am hoping that I will be able to fulfill my dreams of enjoying domestic bliss.

Embroidered sleeveless shirt
I bought a plain grey shirt and I thought it would be a great idea to embellish it with simple embroidery. I found my old threads from a previous cross-stitch project and so I thought it would be a good idea to make use of that. I had no design on paper but I just randomly stitched my way on whatever design will come out. I think its really amazing to transform a simple shirt to this final product.
I used simple stitches: the back stitch, chain stitch and French knot.
