I found a vintage embroidered bedsheet. I plan to do a reproduction of it so what I am going to do is trace the whole design so I can embroider a new bedsheet. The old one has yellow stains…does anyone know how I can remove the stains and not harm the embroidery.?

Leaf design pillows
Stamping a leaf design is so interesting to do.
- First gather your leaves.
- You should choose a leaf that has no shiny texture because the fabric paint will not adhere to the surface.
- Start to brush your leaf where you see the texture of the veins instead of the front part.
- Press the leaf on the fabric with your fingers to make sure that the paint is transferred to the fabric properly.
- Let dry and iron the fabric.
Stenciled kitchen cabinets

I love stencils. In my parent’s old house. I stenciled some nice patterns in the kitchen, in the dining room and in almost every room. You can buy stencil patterns at Michael’s in the US that is where I bought them. But I sometimes draw my own patterns and transfer them in acetate which I cut using a cutter.

Rose Cross Stitch
This is the second cross stitch project I ever made in my whole lifetime. The first one was when I was still in my teens and the second one is this cross stitch Rose design. It is also my last...I had a hard time with this because the weave is so fine I think my vision got more blurry because of this project...well...I am not so young anymore, I must say. Seeing so many wonderful projects in other people's blog, continues to inspire me...I wish I had more time to do the things I like most. I am still employed in the government service and when I do retire, I am hoping that I will be able to fulfill my dreams of enjoying domestic bliss.

Mural
I want to show you a mural which I painted for my twin nephews' bedroom. The bedroom was already colored blue so I just needed to paint the sea creatures and stuff to the blue wall. I used a water based paint for this project. I made some stencils for the fish and handpainted the rest. It took me around 3 days total to complete it.
